The OEM grate is fine in flat calm water conditions but is not so good in choppy or rough water, the boat cavitates and looses a lot of drive which causes a drop off in top speed of several MPH.

Performance Benefits:
- No top speed loss
- Better hook up in all water conditions
- Better cornering because the Worx grate has two rails running the full length that hang down 12mm below the pump cavity which stop the boat sliding out
